BTS: Monroe
In May, we joined another clothing drive at Monroe to raise funds for our project in Kenya, supporting children with meals. We teamed up once more with Just Between Friends (JBF).
Looking back to March, our first JBF sale was a modest start. We sold 26 out of 79 items, raising $121 after JBF's share. This time around, we made significant progress, selling 77 out of 282 items, totaling $308 in sales, and bringing in $184.80 after JBF's cut. That's a huge leap—357% more items sold and 50% more than the money raised compared to our debut.
When we dropped off our donations at the Monroe JBF location, we were impressed by their organization. Clothes were neatly sorted by type and size, with clear signs making setup a breeze.
But success also brings challenges. With our inventory growing, storage became an issue. We only have two clothing racks, each fitting about 200 items. With almost 300 items this time, we need to find a scalable solution.
To expand our impact, we've launched a new fundraiser—collecting used phones. This will help our Kenyan volunteers share their experiences through photos and videos on social media, strengthening our connection with supporters.
As we continue our journey, fueled by passion and community support, we're committed to making a positive difference—one step at a time.

我们再次与 Just Between Friends (JBF) 合作。
